We interrupt your Sunday afternoon w/ a Haiku Riddle from a Reader!
Dear readers, hope we didn't wake you from a nap this lovely Sunday afternoon --its perfect nap weather here. The Dad is certain of the book title, the Mom pretty sure and the Big and Little Sister are flipping through a couple of possibilities at lunch today... What do you think? Solve the Haiku riddle and learn one of jolynbarrett's favorite books:
I have a clue. The First Line/Last Line of the book:
Call me Ishmael. Now small fowl flew screaming over the yet yawning gulf; a sullen white surf beat against its steep sides; then all collapsed, and the great shroud of the sea rolled on as it rolled five thousand years ago.
Pray, who is the prey?
ReplyDeleteAhab sees him in all seas;
He seizes Ahab!
how much fun is that!
